Pulling the plug
As you have noticed I havent been giving customtoyworld any attention for some time now. Due to circumstances concerning my ‘real’ work I had to make some decisions as to where and how to spend my time and energy. The site will remain online for the time being but as off now there wont be any more updates.Thanks and so long! Daan

Greetings!
LOVELY DAY FORCE OF THE GUARDIANS is a Public Affairs program hosted by GMA-7’ news reporter, LOVE AÑOVER; Starstruck kids BEA BINENE and GABBY ROXAS; and taekwondo teen JACOB RATERTA. Airing every Saturday in the Philippines at 9:30 to 10:00 AM, it is the first “FANTAZINE”, fantasy-magazine show, which delivers educational and useful information for the whole family through an entertaining and exciting format. It is also shown in other countries where GMA Pinoy TV is available such as the USA, Canada, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
For its 233rd episode, which will be tentatively aired on October 18, 2008, we are doing a feature on different customized toys. The segment aims to orient children on the various types of toys not only they can play with but create as well.
In this regard, we humbly seek your assistance in making this episode possible by providing us with information regarding the history/origin of custom toys in general. What was the first custom made toy ever, and the like.
